Terms of Service

By using 1 Call Away ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What we provide

1 Call Away operates a pay-per-minute phone line where callers speak with one of our AI voice companions: Aria or Kai. When you call the service number, your call is answered by an artificial intelligence system — not a human. This is disclosed on our website, in our marketing, and in our AI Disclosure page.

Aria and Kai are AI voice companions. If you ever directly ask during a call whether you are speaking with a human, they will confirm that they are not.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you are an adult and capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.

3. Account and registration

To place calls billed through the Service, you must register an account and provide:

4. Pricing and billing

Calls are billed as follows:

Prices may be updated with notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Refunds

Because calls are billed per minute and delivered immediately, we do not generally offer refunds. If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a technical failure that caused the service not to work), contact us within 14 days and we will review your request.

7. Not a crisis service

1 Call Away is a conversational companion service. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, legal advice, or emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (available 24/7 in the United States) or your local emergency number.

8. No guarantee of continuous availability

We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee the Service will always be available. Maintenance, outages at our telecom or AI providers, or other events may cause temporary unavailability. We are not liable for damages arising from unavailability.

9. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and technology associated with 1 Call Away — including the "Aria" persona, voice, and conversational style — are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 90 days prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or emotional distress.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and post the updated terms here. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court for qualifying disputes.
